‎Apapa-Iganmu LCDA, Lagos – Saturday, April 11, 2026The Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the dynamic leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jimoh Olawale Saliu, today successfully hosted the highly anticipated Season 2 of the Olugbani Free Medical Outreach in partnership with the Lagos State University College of Medicine Union (LASUCOM Union).⁣

‎⁣

‎The programme, which commenced at 10:00 AM at Baale Bus Stop along Iganmu Road, witnessed an overwhelming turnout of over 700 residents from Apapa-Iganmu and neighbouring communities.⁣

‎⁣

‎Beneficiaries received free professional medical services including:⁣

‎Hypertension screening  ⁣

‎Malaria screening  ⁣

‎Diabetes screening  ⁣

‎Obesity screening  ⁣

‎Hepatitis screening  ⁣

‎Dental consultations⁣

‎⁣

‎All participants were provided with free medications where necessary. Special and critical cases were promptly identified, documented, and referred to appropriate higher facilities for further management⁣

‎⁣

‎In his remarks after the exercise, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jimoh Olawale Saliu, expressed profound amazement at the massive turnout. He reiterated that this Season 2 is “still just the beginning,” emphasizing that the wellbeing of the people of Apapa-Iganmu remains his topmost priority.⁣

‎The Chairman further disclosed that the establishment of a General Hospital or a standard medical care facility within the LCDA will be one of the major legacies of his administration.⁣

‎The Council extends its heartfelt appreciation and profound gratitude to all stakeholders who made this impactful intervention a resounding success:⁣
