In an unwavering commitment to the educational and technical advancement of the good people of Apapa-Iganmu LCDA, the executive chairman of Apapa Iganmu LCDA Hon. Jimoh Olawale Saliu on Tuesday, 14th July 2026, led a delegation of the Executive Committee on a strategic courtesy visit to the management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH).⁣⁣⁣

The delegation was warmly received by the Rector, Dr. Engr. Ibraheem Adedotun Abdul, alongside members of the college’s Governing Council.⁣⁣⁣

The discussion centered on building a robust partnership to foster both formal academic and technical education for the youth of our beloved local government.⁣⁣⁣

The college management assured the team of a solid partnership, aimed at promoting technical and academic development for Apapa-Iganmu students, beginning from the admission level.⁣⁣⁣

During the visit, Hon. Jimoh officially submitted a curated list of indigent but brilliant students from our community who have been selected to benefit from our local government scholarship scheme at YABATECH.⁣⁣⁣
