The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area, Princess Samiat Bada, has once again demonstrated her commitment to youth empowerment, business growth, and community development as she flags off the 2nd Edition of the Ikosi-Isheri Trade Fair and Exhibition from the 5th of November to 14th, 2025
The annual event, which has now become one of the most anticipated commercial gatherings within the LCDA, brings together entrepreneurs, SMEs, artisans, fashion designers, beauty brands, agro-businesses, tech startups, and community innovators to showcase their products and services.
Princess Simiat noted that the initiative aims to:
Promote local businesses and support SMEs
Boost economic activities within the LCDA
Create networking opportunities for business owners
Encourage creativity and innovation among young entrepreneurs
Strengthen community engagement and employment opportunities
She emphasized that the 2nd edition is bigger, more organised, and enriched with more exhibitors, including new startups and returning vendors from last year’s successful maiden edition.
The fair features product exhibitions, food vendors, entertainment, daily giveaways, discount sales, and business mentoring sessions, all designed to stimulate commerce and inspire business growth.
Princess Simiat applauded the participating exhibitors for their resilience and encouraged residents to patronize locally-made products.
The Trade Fair stands as another testament to her administration’s focus on inclusive development, women empowerment, and sustainable economic growth within Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
