ommunity leaders applaud initiative as beneficiaries express gratitude over timely intervention_
In a significant demonstration of compassion and community-driven impact, the Concerned Nation Builders Initiative (CNI) has successfully distributed over 350 palliative packages to vulnerable residents across Epe Division, covering Epe, Eredo, Ikosi-Ejinrin, Ibeju, and Lekki.
The large-scale humanitarian outreach, which has steadily expanded over the years, attracted an impressive turnout of beneficiaries, community leaders, and key stakeholders who gathered to witness and participate in the impactful exercise. The atmosphere was filled with hope, appreciation, and relief as food items and essential supplies were distributed to ease the burden of prevailing economic challenges.
Speaking during the programme, the Founder and Director-General of CNI, Chief Idris Tele Olukoya, highlighted the consistency and steady growth of the initiative over the past five years. “This is something we have been doing for the past five years, and it keeps getting better every year,” he stated.
“While the government is making efforts, it is clear that not everyone can be reached. This is why organizations like CNI are committed to complementing these efforts and contributing to the well-being of our communities.”
He further emphasized that the initiative is deeply rooted in a commitment to humanity, social responsibility, and sustainable community development, adding that plans are underway to expand its reach in future editions.
Also lending his voice, High Chief Kadri Odedeogbo, the Olu Epe-elect, commended the initiative and encouraged individuals, corporate bodies, and organizations to imbibe the culture of giving. “This is a highly commendable effort. I encourage everyone to show compassion in their own capacity, as such acts of kindness attract divine blessings,” he remarked.
Similarly, High Chief Shobaloju praised the organizers and offered prayers for all donors and contributors who supported the programme.
"We pray that God continues to bless and replenish everyone who has contributed to this noble cause,” he said.
In her remarks, Alhaja Alade Raji stressed the importance of unity, peace, and collective responsibility within communities, noting that a harmonious environment fosters generosity and mutual support.
" When there is peace and love within the community, people are naturally inspired to support one another,” she noted.
Beneficiaries who spoke at the event expressed heartfelt appreciation to the organizers, describing the intervention as timely, impactful, and crucial in meeting their immediate needs. Many acknowledged that such initiatives significantly reduce hardship and restore hope among vulnerable families.
