Hon. Olawale Jimoh Presents Official Vehicles, Welcomes Newly Appointed Supervisors at Apapa Iganmu LCDA Apapa, Lagos State — March 9, 2026

 


The Executive Chairman of Apapa Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Olawale Jimoh, today officially welcomed the newly appointed Supervisors of the council and presented official vehicles to them to enhance effective service delivery across the council area.

The ceremony took place at the Council Secretariat of Apapa Iganmu LCDA, where council officials, party leaders, community stakeholders, and well-wishers gathered to witness the symbolic presentation and formal welcome.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Jimoh congratulated the newly appointed supervisors and described their appointment as a call to serve the people of Apapa Iganmu with dedication, transparency, and commitment.

He noted that the provision of official vehicles is part of his administration’s effort to equip council officials with the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively and ensure that governance remains close to the people.

“Today marks another important step in strengthening grassroots governance in Apapa Iganmu LCDA. The supervisors have a critical role to play in ensuring that our development agenda reaches every ward and every resident in our community. These vehicles are provided to support your work and ensure that you remain accessible to the people,” Hon. Jimoh stated.

The Chairman further urged the supervisors to work collaboratively with the council leadership, traditional institutions, community leaders, and residents to sustain ongoing developmental projects and initiate new programmes that will improve the welfare of the people.

In their separate remarks, the newly appointed supervisors expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman for the confidence reposed in them and assured residents of their commitment to effective service delivery, accountability, and dedication to the growth and development of Apapa Iganmu LCDA.

The presentation of the official vehicles symbolizes the council’s commitment to strengthening administrative efficiency and supporting public officials in delivering quality governance at the grassroots level.
